usa.country is a conceptual artwork.
It began on May 20, 2026. It will end on January 20, 2029.
In between: one deal per day.
Each deal is a proposition. An imagined negotiation. A transaction that cannot be completed — with history, with nature, with silence, with God. The subject of each deal is the current state of the world, refracted through the logic of a man who believes everything is negotiable.
Nothing is for sale here. Except the prints.
Each deal is issued as a limited edition of 99 hand-numbered prints, produced on paper. The edition number is written by hand. The date is fixed. The deal is done.
The domain usa.country is itself part of the work. It is not a website. It is a location. A conceptual address. A piece of internet real estate that carries, for the duration of this project, the weight of a particular moment in history. This is net art in the tradition of conceptual practice — where the idea is the object, the process is the medium, and time is the material.
usa.country is produced independently.
No gallery. No institution. No sponsor.
Costs: near zero.
Ambition: considerable.
THE FINAL DEAL
On January 20, 2029, the last print will be issued.
Deal #1.
The following day, something will be offered that has never been offered before in the history of net art. Not a print. Not a file. Not a copy.
The thing itself.
Those who have been paying attention will understand.
Those who haven't — well. That's the deal.
The biggest deal
