THEY WALK AMONG US

Jun 3, 2026 | was macht USA?

The United States government has a new website.
It is called aliens.gov.
It is not about UFOs.
The White House launched the site last week with sci-fi aesthetics borrowed from The X-Files — dark background, green glowing font, dramatic scrolling text. "THEY WALK AMONG US," it declares. "DECLASSIFIED."

The Aliens Are People

The aliens in question are not from outer space.
They are people without papers.
The site refers to undocumented immigrants as "it." It features a live map tracking ICE arrests across the country. It invites citizens to report "suspicious aliens" via a tip line. "If you've witnessed an Alien abduction," the site reads, "do not be alarmed. The Alien is in good hands."

The Alien is a human being.
Since January 2025, ICE has recorded around 200,000 arrests. The administration claims three million. The data does not match. Nobody explains the difference.

Switzerland Calls People People

Switzerland does not have a website called aliens.gov.
Switzerland calls people people.

In 1776, the Declaration of Independence stated:
"All men are created equal."
It did not say: except the ones without the right papers.
It did not say: refer to them as "it."
It did not say: build a website.
